According to HeadHunter recruiting agency, demand in Chinese-speaking professionals increased 4,5 times or by 450%. This statement is proven by huge amount of requests for young Chinese teachers from kindergartens, schools and universities of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as increased interest of employers in Chinese-speaking professionals. Such professionals are trained in Kazan Innovative University named after V. G. Timiryasov (IEML).

On 9 – 10 June, 2016 the 10th session of the European and Asian Legal Congress took place on the basis of Ural State Law University with support of Eurasian Economic Union, Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in Ural Federal District, Governor and Government of Sverdlovsk Region.
International scientific seminar "Teaching Foreign Language as the Second" took place in Kazan Innovative University on June, 6-7. Our teachers of Chinese and Russian, Anastasiya Suleymanova and Venera Sibgatullina, shared their experience and conducted master-classes.
Educational programs ranking was published on 1st of June, 2016. Kazan Innovative University named after V. G. Timiryasov (IEML) was the only higher educational institution of the Republic of Tatarstan to be included in that ranking.

Our Fulbright teaching assistant Morgan Richardson (University of Tulsa, Oklahoma) who had been teaching English in KIU (IEML) for a year conducted 3 quizzes dedicated to differences between English language in the UK and the USA. KIU (IEML) students and secondary school students of Kazan took part in it.
