On September, 20, KIU (IEML) celebrated the annual Designer Day. Only the most impressive artworks, performances and workshops were selected for this celebration, such as art-wall made of white flowers, doodling workshop, Pollock-inspired drip painting, gingerbread icing workshop and “Sushka” photographic exhibition where photos were hung up on a string.
Students of Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies of KIU actively participated in scholarships given by China in 2015/2016. It isn’t easy. Firstly, you have to pass successfully a standard exam in Chinese language as Foreign (HSK). Then learn the whole information concerning scholarships, requirements to an applicant and the list of documents.
According to HeadHunter recruiting agency, demand in Chinese-speaking professionals increased 4,5 times or by 450%. This statement is proven by huge amount of requests for young Chinese teachers from kindergartens, schools and universities of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as increased interest of employers in Chinese-speaking professionals. Such professionals are trained in Kazan Innovative University named after V. G. Timiryasov (IEML).
